BECOME A QUALIFIED LEVEL 2 & 3 HYBRID TECHNICIAN

As we look to the future, we cannot ignore that Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) are going to become more common in the workshop. We want to ensure that your technicians are properly trained to keep the workshop a safe environment for customers and staff, while also being qualified to work on a HEV.

At MOT Expert we offer a dual Level Award which is carried out over two days.

Two Day Course – Covering two qualifications

Level 2 Award in Hybrid Vehicle Routine Maintenance Activities – This is the mandatory gateway course for all technicians who intend to do any maintenance work on a HEV

• Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Components and operation
• Hazards within a HEV
• Reducing risk
• Safe preparation of a HEV

Level 3 Award in Electric Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement – Once the Level 2 has been passed technicians are eligible to complete the Level 3. During the course technicians will learn how to safely carry out diagnostic, testing and repairs to a HEV, including working on vehicles that have received damage to the electrical system.
