Frequently Asked Questions
For Classes 4 & 7 you need a minimum of 4 years' lawful full-time employment servicing and repairing the class of vehicle you wish to test, a Level 3 qualification or equivalent (no Level 3? our Pre MOT Entry Assessment is the route in), a full UK driving licence in that class, and no unspent criminal convictions.
The tester courses are delivered at our dedicated training facility in Northampton, with a mixture of classroom and workshop based training. Annual training and assessment, and Class 3 and 5 training, can be done online.
Every year between 1st April and 31st March, MOT testers must complete three hours of training and an Annual Assessment, and keep a record of the training for five years. We provide it at our training centre or online, with a free exam retake.

Yes. We can book several people from the same garage or test centre onto a course together, and we can arrange and provide accommodation for customers coming from afar. Call 01604 422700 to discuss dates and numbers.
